If you have RTIMAGE installed on your system, 'ee' EEview iconEEview can call on its graphical comparison features to compare a page of one document with a page from a second document.

EEview supplies image(s) of the page(s) in the two documents to RTimage and these are displayed in the 'Main' and 'Alternate' windows. You may then page through the documents independently, view the 'Differences', check colours pixel-by-pixel etc. – see RTimage Help.

Click the Information button 'i' glyphInformation button.
oSelect Compare current pages.
Temporary single-image TIFF files of the two pages currently on view in EEview are displayed in RTIMAGE. Or
oSelect Compare current files.
Temporary multi-page TIFF files of the two documents on view in EEview are displayed in RTIMAGE.
Use its navigation buttons to step through the pages: the number of the page on view is shown on its tool-bar. When viewing the 'Differences' window the Main/Alternate page numbers are both shown e.g. 4/20.

Notes

EEview continues to show the document pages in EscapeE windows while RTIMAGE displays their images. Paging through the documents in the EscapeE windows using their own toolbars does not affect the images displayed in the RTIMAGE windows.

In Quad view, RTIMAGE displays images from the first two documents only.
