The bc39reader plugin reads and decodes Code 3 of 9 barcodes. The extracted text becomes the value of the field.

1.Sweep-out the area of the page containing the barcode and click New field... from the pop-up menu to display the 'Fields' menu.
2.You may set up a Field name and adjust the size/position of the field as usual: see Defining fields and tags.
3.Click the Action tab.
4.Select BC39Reader from the drop-down 'Call Plugin' list.
oTo add the feature to the 'back' of the target page rather than the 'front', tick On the back. This forces duplex printing even on simplex jobs (long-edge binding if portrait and short-edge binding if landscape).
5.Click Configure.
6.Click OK.
