Tesseract Plugin

This plugin utilizes the tesseract 'open source' optical character recognition routine (superseding OCR Plugin).
To install tesseract ocr, see https://github.com/tesseract-ocr 
| • | Sweep out the part of the page containing the image of the 'text' to define a field as usual or edit an existing field: see Attaching a plugin to a field. Then select tesseract from the 'Call plugin' list on the 'Action' page and click Configure: see Tesseract Configuration. |
Tesseract is also employed by the rocr plugin when recovering text: see Rocr.
This plugin is not part of the standard 
EscapeE delivery but may be purchased from RedTitan.
