Fields list/tree
Fields are listed in a pane of the Fields dialog window, usually on the right-hand side of the field information pane (see Tips below). The field-names can be shown as a simple list in alphabetical order (convenient for finding and editing) or in 'Tree' view.
Tree view
Tree view not only shows the order in which fields are output (for example, for CSV export) but also how the fields relate to each other.
| 1. | Tick Tree on Definitions page of the Fields dialog (Ctrl + D). |
| 2. | To move a field or tag up the list, right-click the field or tag and select Move up from the pop-up menu. To move a field or tag down the list, right-click the field or tag and select Move down from the pop-up menu. Repeat moves to place all the fields and tags are in the order you require. |

| o | To make a field (or tag) dependent on another 'parent' field (or tag), click down on the 'child' name and drag it onto the parent name. The parent folder |

| • | To show the contents a parent folder, double-click its |
| • | To hide the contents a parent folder, double-click its |
| • | To move the list/tree pane, start by dragging out a bigger window for the dialog. Next, click the mouse button down in the pane (without selecting a field or tag), drag the pane to the new location then release the mouse button. The pane may be docked on the right of the information pane or below it. |
