FONTEDIT iconFONTEDIT can display several font files at the same time, each in its own window.

Click Maximise window area button on the bar at the top of a window to show it maximized or
Vestigial window button to show it minimized or
Resizeable window button to show it a window which may be resized by dragging the sizing handles with the mouse.

The Window menu includes a list of the windows which are currently open. The active ("on top") window is indicated by a Ticktick icon. Clicking on a window name in the list brings it to the top.

'Drag-and-drop' may be used to reposition a minimized or re-sizable window manually. To arrange all the windows automatically, select one of these options from the Window menu:

Cascade
Large, overlapping windows.
Tile
Smaller windows, packed to fit the space exactly.
Minimize All
Only shows icons (vestigial title-bars) of each window.
Maximize All
All windows expanded to fill the whole of the FONTEDIT window and stacked so that only the active font's window is on view.
Arrange Icons
Places window icons tidily at the foot of the FONTEDIT window.

To close a window

Click Close window button on the bar at the top of the window, or
Press Ctrl+F4 keys or
Select Close from the window's File menu.
