A "Quick Response" QR code® encodes up to 4,296 alphanumeric characters of text. It is often used to contain an internet web-address as a graphic which is easily captured by mobile devices.

QR codes always contain three distinctive 'finder' corner patterns Finder square. The whole barcode is surrounded by a 'no-print' quiet zone of white cells.

Four levels of error detection and correction may be configured by setting the appropriate combination of two check-boxes:

Lower levels of error correction generate smaller codes but are only suitable for "clean" environments e.g. office use. Higher levels of error correction generate more elements per code and so better suited to use in dirty or damage-prone environments e.g. outdoors.
